Coconut & Oat Bath Soak
** First and foremost, I am not a medical expert, if you have any concerns about any skin conditions always see your GP. Everyone’s skin is different! **
Jar weight: 115g
Sachet weight: 55g
Both ingredients have outstanding features that everyone’s skin can benefit from, and these are a few reasons why I have chosen them.
Oats are known to soothe, and create a barrier on the skin to lock in moisture and protect from nasties getting in that could cause further irritation and helps maintain our skins normal pH levels.
Coconut is something everyone needs in their life. It’s fatty acids are full of good vitamins like B, E and C, our skin loves it. It works to moisturise, soothe and is known for its anti inflammatory properties... You can definitely see how these 2 are the ultimate dream team together.
Directions for use:
Shake before use to loosen up product.
Slowly sprinkle into bath water as it is filling, and you may need to swirl some water around a few times to help the ingredients dissolve.
Use as little or as much as you like, as it depends on your bath water capacity and personal preference. I use about half (sometimes all) of the jar as I like a deep bath. Sit back and relax for half an hour to let the goodies do their thing, pat skin dry when you hop out, and lather up with your favourite body oil or moisturiser for added moisture.
This can be used for bathing our little people in too. The skin soothing benefits of the oats can be helpful for eczema and the sensitive skin that they experience. Always seek help about any skin conditions from your GP and follow their advice if you have any concerns.
Keep lid on jar as this keeps moisture out and store in a cool, dry area.
Other ways you can use it:
Fill up a pantyhose leg with some of the product and tie the top, let it soak in the bath water, then squeeze directly onto the areas of skin that need the love.
Also as a foot soak if you get dry feet, it works wonders! Just sprinkle in some as you are filling a bowl/bucket with warm water.
Did you know, it is recommended to soak in a cooler bath if your skin is irritated (also if pregnant, you shouldn’t raise your body temp. too much), this helps to soothe, as warmer water can dry out the skin and aggravate further. Also nice in the summer time too.
Sediment may settle on the bottom of the bath and leave a ring around where the waterline was - you may need to rinse your bath afterwards, but you do not need to rinse yourself.
May contain traces of tree nuts, as the coconut milk powder was packaged in a facility that handles tree nuts.
If you have an allergy to avenin, it is best to not use this product.
For external use only. Contact your GP if irritation/allergic reaction occurs and discontinue use immediately.
Colloidal oatmeal (Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Flour), Organic & vegan Coconut Milk Powder (coconut kernel extract (i.e. coconut milk)*, rice-based maltodextrin* (*certified organic).
