Lumen Print - Gum Leaf

Gum Leaf Lumen art print

Art print of Gum Leaf exposed in sunlight for 1 hour. A foraged sprig from a gum tree, moving in and out of depth in the exposure with little hints of seeds and cracking in the dried leaf. Hang solo or compliment with another colour from the palette curated by Stacey - Dusk, Mustard, Leaf, Prussian and Ink.

Digitally created from an original Lumen print exposed and developed by Stacey.  Some textures and halos are present from the exposure of the flower on the paper. This is part of the authenticity of this process.

Lumen prints hark back to the beginning of camera-less photographs in the 1830's by placing an object directly on photographic paper and exposing in sunlight. The process evokes a certain charm of capturing the changing moments of nature's beauty.

Available in A5, A4 and A3 sizes only. Printed on a textured stock and without border. Some prints and sizes are made to order and require additional delivery time. All sizes of Lumen prints are shipped flat.

Please note some textures and halos are present from the exposure of the flower on the paper. This is part of the fascination of this process.

Framed prints are made to order and can take up to 10 days. Prints are framed in white coated, black coated or New Zealand pine frames and without a matte board. If you would like a matte board, please get in touch. Please specify on order which you would like or if you would like to discuss any other frame options, email

Mini canvas also available in 8x10 inch size. The printed canvas is stretched to a frame with hanging wire secured for easy hanging on your wall. These are made to order so please allow an additional 7 - 10 days for completion.

I have made effort to display online as accurately as possible the colours and images of JSW products. Where a product has been photographed in situ, please consider the effects of studio lighting. I also cannot guarantee that your computer monitor or phone screen display of any colour will be accurate.
